Gr4vy & Worldline extend partnership to ease global payments

Sat, 22nd Nov 2025

Gr4vy has strengthened its partnership with Worldline to support merchants expanding cross-border payment operations. The collaboration aims to simplify payment management for businesses seeking to enter new markets, particularly across sectors where local preferences and regulatory challenges are pronounced.

Cross-border efficiency

The combined offering enables merchants to access Worldline's acquiring network through Gr4vy's cloud payment orchestration platform. This approach is intended to reduce technical and operational demands on merchants, providing a single scalable entry point to multiple markets. Businesses can benefit from the ability to manage payments locally, adapt to regulatory requirements, and optimise customer experiences.

Key sectors identified by both firms include travel, gaming, and retail, which often face additional complexity due to high transaction volumes, recurring billing needs, and varying compliance standards across countries.

Industry focus

The partnership's initial focus on gaming, media, retail, and digital goods has expanded to include the travel sector. This marks the integration of Worldline's TravelHub, a solution tailored for airlines, online travel agencies, and hospitality companies. TravelHub provides access to local payment options, foreign exchange conversion, refund automation, and fraud protection through a single interface, enabling businesses to streamline their multi-market operations.

This extension into travel aligns with the broader strategy to cover industries where scalable and localised payments are crucial to international growth.

Planned integrations

The companies' joint roadmap outlines further integrations, including the addition of Worldline Direct to support local acquiring in Australia and Worldline Connect to facilitate broader global scalability. Plans also include collaboration on subscription and recurring payment solutions to provide merchants with enhanced options for long-term customer engagement.

Integration with these systems is expected to provide merchants with additional tools to manage their payment stack, reduce risk, and improve both performance and customer experience. The flexibility of Gr4vy's platform combined with Worldline's infrastructure is positioned to address the evolving needs of global businesses.

Leadership perspectives

"Our mission has always been to remove complexity from payments," said John Lunn, Founder and CEO, Gr4vy. "Through our continued collaboration with Worldline, we're giving merchants the tools and connections to grow faster, supported by the reach, reliability, and expertise of a global payments leader."
"We're excited to expand our relationship with Gr4vy," said Guillaume Tournand, VP of Strategic Expansion & Partnerships, Worldline Merchant Services. "Together, we're combining innovation and scale to help merchants optimize their global payment strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences."
