Today

Di Papadopoulos has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Booster.

Papadopoulos currently serves as Booster's Chief Customer Officer and will succeed in overseeing the company's funds management operations, including the management of its Savvy debit card. This appointment is a strategic move by Booster to integrate a new generation of leadership into its organisation.

Allan Yeo, the founder of Booster, will maintain his role as Group Managing Director, where he will concentrate on the company's strategic direction and broader business affairs. Yeo highlighted that the appointment is aligned with Booster's ongoing plan to transition key leadership roles over several years.

"It's very satisfying to watch the next generation taking the reins. We have built a very capable team, and Di is a standout leader, who I have every confidence in to successfully take Booster into the future," commented Allan Yeo.

Papadopoulos is set to mark over a decade with Booster by July of this year. Before joining Booster, she was positioned in a senior management capacity at BP Oil. In her statement, Papadopoulos expressed enthusiasm for assuming her new responsibilities.

"Booster has a long history of helping Kiwis meet their financial goals. I'm looking forward to leading our team through the next chapter," said Di Papadopoulos.

For more than 25 years, Booster has supported New Zealanders in building financial resilience and consistently advocated for the importance of quality financial advice. Papadopoulos emphasised the company's commitment to its customers.

"At Booster we know what a great privilege it is to look after people's money. I'm incredibly conscious of that and the team know I will be relentless at continuing to put our customers at the centre of everything we do," stated Di Papadopoulos.

Di Papadopoulos will officially assume the role of CEO on 17th March 2025.
