Entrepreneur X Factor coming to a town near you
Are you an entrepreneur at heart and want to know if you’ve got what it takes? Season 3 of Entrepreneur X Factor may be just the thing for you.
The event has only proved to grow. It visited 15 cities in Season 1 and 26 in Season 2. Last year, there were more than 3,000,000 brand exposures, 200 partners involved and 1,200 people at each. This year, the event will visit 30 cities around the world - and could be coming to a city near you.
This is a chance to receive innovative information about entrepreneurship from guest experts, meet people in this world and get your foot in the door with some big shots, as well as becoming part of a community of clever and inventive individuals.
Each event will differ slightly, but it will begin with a welcome, followed by a keynote speech. After everyone has been sufficiently inspired, there will be the one minute pitches from participants. After this, contestants will receive feedback from judges, there will be a sponsor and charity spot and then the winner will be announced. Head along as a spectator and prepare to have your mind expanded.
The event will take place in Auckland on 08 October, Napier on 09 October, Wellington on 13 October and Christchurch 14 October - so get your tickets today on Eventbrite.
You can also enter to be a participant online. You’ll just have to create a 1-3 minute video, upload it to YouTube and put the link on the Entrepreneur X Facebook page. The competition started on 01 October and runs until 28 October. Those who have the most hits at the end of the month will go on to partake in a heat and win a prize: the Entrepreneur Success Program that is worth more than $1,600. If you win your heat, you’ll be invited to compete in a global final and the adventure continues.
This is a great opportunity to pitch an idea or business to people who can give you feedback. These people have information about the industry and will give you constructive criticism, more so than your dear old mum who is always the first to tell you your ideas are “just wonderful darling”.
