Flexxon welcomes industry veteran Ravi Agarwal to Advisory Board
Singapore-based cybersecurity solutions firm, Flexxon, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Ravi Agarwal to its advisory board. Mr Agarwal, a former executive at Intel and Microsoft, brings more than three decades of experience in technology and will lend his extensive expertise to Flexxon's strategic growth and innovation strategy across its markets of operation.
Joining Flexxon's illustrious advisory board alongside BG Rami Efrati, Ted Tan, Professor Annie Koh, and Henry J. Sienkiewicz, Mr Agarwal expressed his delight at accepting the role. Mr Agarwal is renowned for his deep experience in strategy and brand development, as well as business transformation. As Intel's Director of Marketing, he was instrumental in launching the 'Intel in it' branding initiative in Japan, which later paved the way for the worldwide 'Intel Inside' campaign. For this achievement, Mr Agarwal was honoured with Intel's prestigious Intel Achievement Award.
Aside from his corporate successes, Mr Agarwal has also played a pivotal role in community initiatives. He led a mentorship programme for underprivileged college students in collaboration with the Ministry of Education in Singapore. He served as a professor specialising in emerging markets strategies at Singapore's Nanyang Business School and was an active member of the Harvard Club Singapore. Mr Agarwal also held a position on the board of the Singapore American School for five years.
Established in 2007, Flexxon specialises in next-generation hardware-based cybersecurity solutions and industrial NAND flash storage devices. The company's X-PHY Cybersecure SSD, launched in 2021, has been integrated into laptops from leading manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP, and ASUS and fortified as an option in SingTel's SME cybersecurity solutions suite.
