iXsystems appoints Kristy Mao as Senior VP of Finance to Drive Business Innovation & Expansion
iXsystems, the firm responsible for TrueNAS Open Storage, has publicly announced the appointment of Kristy Mao as its new Senior Vice President of Finance. Capitalising on her comprehensive experience in finance leadership roles, Ms. Mao is expected to deliver business innovation and sustainable expansion for the company as it augments its market presence.
With a distinguished reputation for driving success at the interface of technology and business transformation, She is a seasoned leader, proven to stimulate innovation through multi-functional collaboration to yield robust business outcomes. Prior to joining iXsystems, Ms. Mao facilitated the role of Vice President of Finance and Performance Management at Siemens Digital Industries Software. There she managed a global team of 90 individuals handling strategic financial planning, FP and A, finance IT, digital transformation and enterprise risk management. Before her tenure at Siemens, Ms. Mao also progressively advanced in numerous finance leadership roles at Mentor Graphics.

Ms. Mao will spearhead the global finance organisation in her role at iXsystems, covering several financial activities including strategy and finance operations, accounting and controllership, financial planning and analysis, business transformation, tax, internal audit and treasury.
