FYI, this story is more than a year old

“MYOB has been helping businesses succeed for more than 25 years and we have built a strong relationship with the franchisee community.

That's Ingrid Cronin-Knight, head of SME for MYOB, the accounting software provider that has just won ‘Service Provider of the Year' at the New Zealand Franchise Awards.

The accolade recognises service providers who have made a significant contribution to their franchise clients.

Entrants were assessed on their business operations and strategy, staff and customer engagement, as well as performance and financial results.

Cronin-Knight says the company is extremely honoured to receive such recognition.

“We're delighted that connection has been recognised with this reward,” she says.

“MYOB identified several key requirements for businesses in the franchise sector. We then developed a comprehensive franchise support programme in order to help them get ahead.

Cronin-Knight explains that MYOB's focus on integrating its range of business management products with the various franchises' systems has enabled the company to establish a deep and highly effective level of communication.

"Not only between the software, but also between our businesses,” she says.

The judges praised MYOB, commending the organisation for its commitment to customers in the SME environment and strong investment in cloud-based services.

“Our partnerships with the Franchise Association of NZ and Franchise New Zealand have cemented MYOB as the key provider of online accounting to franchisors and franchisees around New Zealand,” says Cronin-Knight.

The New Zealand Franchise Awards, run by the Franchise Association of New Zealand and Westpac, are designed to celebrate innovation and success in New Zealand's franchise sector.
