FYI, this story is more than a year old

New Zealand accounting solutions provider MYOB has boosted its rural service with the addition of data feeds from Miraka Limited.

Miraka is a Maori-owned dairy company located near Taupo which processes whole milk powder for sale in Vietnam, China, Middle East and South America.

The secure data feeds enable accountants to provide Miraka shareholders with cash flow reports that compare year-on-year financial results.

“We are delighted to welcome Miraka to the MYOB family of companies that provide data feeds to accountants and clients," says Adam Ferguson, General Manager Accountants Division, MYOB.

"As part of the service, MYOB will provide an electronic copy of the monthly statement, which includes milk production information."

Miraka CEO Richard Wyeth says enabling data feeds for its shareholders assists with sound financial management.

“Since Miraka began production in August 2011, we’ve gone from strength to strength, and we’re pleased to work with MYOB in providing data feeds - an important accounting tool - for our shareholders," he adds.

MYOB is the only accounting solutions company in New Zealand able to provide dedicated data feeds from eleven major rural suppliers.

In addition to Miraka, MYOB provides data feeds from Fonterra/RD1, Open Country, Tatua, Westland, CRT Cooperative, Farmlands Cooperative, PGG Wrightson, Ashburton Trading Society and New Zealand Farmers Livestock.
