New eInvoicing solutions for TechnologyOne users unveiled

Today

MessageXchange has announced eInvoicing solutions for TechnologyOne users in response to the New Zealand Government's mandate for broader adoption by 2026.

The New Zealand Government has mandated that government agencies sending or receiving more than 2,000 domestic invoices annually adopt eInvoicing. According to MessageXchange, their solutions facilitate this process and simplify ongoing accounts-related operations.

"The new eInvoicing mandate is an important step in New Zealand's digital transformation journey. We know that any changes to existing processes can be an impost to organisations, so MessageXchange is proud to deliver solutions that simplify this process for government agencies. Intuitive and secure eInvoicing options empower agencies to focus on their core operations while achieving compliance efficiently," said John Delaney, Managing Director of MessageXchange.

The company offers two main products for eInvoicing: eInvoicing Connect and eInvoicing Gateway. These products integrate with TechnologyOne CI Anywhere, offering flexible solutions to meet various agency needs without sacrificing usability or compliance.

eInvoicing Connect is promoted as an option for rapid deployment and affordability, potentially trimming more than 50% off invoice processing costs. This route is framed as ideal for smaller agencies due to its minimal setup and seamless integration capabilities, allowing users to quickly meet compliance standards and achieve operational gains.

For larger entities with complex invoicing requirements, eInvoicing Gateway provides features like workflow management and data enhancement. Its integration with banks and payment providers is designed to further afford agencies control and precision in invoice management.

Both eInvoicing solutions prioritise data security, ensuring protection and confidentiality across government transactions.

John Delaney further commented, "Our eInvoicing solutions for TechnologyOne users gives government agencies a trusted and adaptable solution that meets their unique needs. MessageXchange's eInvoicing solutions facilitate faster invoice processing, fewer errors, and significant cost savings. It's all about making compliance a straightforward process."

MessageXchange has existing arrangements with several New Zealand government bodies, including The Treasury New Zealand, and also services Australian entities like the Australian Taxation Office and several governmental agencies in New South Wales. The integration with TechnologyOne enhances MessageXchange's role in providing eInvoicing solutions in New Zealand, offering a strategic advantage to agencies leveraging both platforms.

MessageXchange is a cloud service provider of business-to-business (B2B) integration, including eInvoicing, electronic data interchange (EDI), and payments. The company supports businesses and government agencies to streamline their operations.
