New ERP sales manager for MYOB
MYOB has announced Steve Victor will be stepping into the New Zealand sales manager role for its enterprise resource planning products.
The software company's ERP products comprise of MYOB Advanced, EXO and the newly acquired Greentree.
Victor joins the team from cloud computing firm OneNet, where he served as national sales manager.
MYOB's general manager of Enterprise Solutions, Carolyn Luey, says MYOB is thrilled to have Victor on board.
"Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role and is highly regarded amongst the New Zealand tech community," says Luey.
"He will be a huge asset to the team as we continue to invest in and expand our enterprise solutions," she says.
Luey says since MYOB Advanced launched two years ago, sales have grown at 170% year on year.
"Now with the addition of Advanced People, Steve and his team will be able to offer even more value to our larger business clients," she adds.
MYOB Advanced People is the company's latest cloud-based mid-market payroll solution released in February. The new service allows information to flow between functions, reducing duplication of effort, manual data entry and providing real-time business insights for the New Zealand mid-market.
The product can operate as a standalone product or coupled with the MYOB Advanced Business solution, offers the ability to consolidate systems and processes into a single cloud based solution.
"Together they deliver the fastest growing mid-market platform in Australia and New Zealand," Luey says.
Over the last several years, MYOB has been expanding its presence in the mid-market sector, with investments in a number of local companies, including the $28.5 million acquisition of Auckland-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider Greentree in 2016 and the investment in Christchurch-headquartered PayGlobal in 2014.
Victor adds, "It is exciting to be joining a dynamic company that is continually transforming and innovating while focussing on helping local businesses succeed.
"MYOB's investment in technology and dedication to the local market is truly impressive and its cloud offering is second-to-none," he says.
"Any business looking to grow should be with MYOB as our services can scale with the business."
