New milestone set for Black Pearl Group's digital sales product
Thu, 10th Aug 2023

New Zealand's tech company Black Pearl Group (BPG), has recently announced a major breakthrough for its latest product, Pearl Diver, securing over NZD$1 million in new annual recurring revenue (ARR) in the past 90 days. This marks an impressive milestone for the company, demonstrating its growing impact in the SaaS (Software as a Service) space.

The innovative product Pearl Diver, launched in March 2023, is designed to transform anonymous website visits into actionable leads, identifying key sales opportunities through a robust data service. It offers businesses unprecedented insights into their website and digital interactions, enhancing customer engagement and conversion rates.

According to BPG's CEO, Nick Lisette, Pearl Diver has been nothing short of a game-changer. He emphasizes that the product can "literally turn site visits into prospects, reducing a business's dependency on pay-to-play digital advertising networks while providing a new path to revenue growth."

This technology achieves a high degree of individual contact information by matching over 40 demographic and firmographic data points to a website visitor. It combines this with contextual data, such as site visit frequency and email interactions, to provide real-time notifications and back-in-market alerts. These features help companies in maximizing new customer interactions and fostering repeat business.

In its debut month, Pearl Diver secured over 50 orders and is currently exclusively available in the US market. Its monthly subscription model ranges from USD$198 to USD$1,367.

But the ambitions of Blackpearl don't stop there. They have two major initiatives lined up to further boost revenue growth.

Firstly, an extension of Pearl Diver called Flows is scheduled for release in September 2023. This feature will allow customers to better channel their resources by grouping website visitors and key audiences, aligning with a "sell to the best, grow the rest" approach. This is expected to support increased price points for BPG and ensure that customers gain maximum value from their web traffic.

Additionally, Cherryl Pressley's recent appointment as Chief Revenue Officer signals a strategic focus on expanding sales partnerships. Pressley, a seasoned professional with 17 years of experience at Microsoft and Google, emphasizes the value of partnerships, stating that they can be "a true force multiplier for us. They bring not only sales skills and the ability to scale but also professional services and support that provide tremendous value to our joint customers."

This partnership strategy, along with the new Flows feature, will be discussed in depth at Blackpearl's ASM on Monday, 4 September 2023.

The significant achievements and upcoming developments reflect a strong growth trajectory for Black Pearl Group. By focusing on innovation, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships, the company is positioning itself as a leader in the ever-competitive SaaS industry, with Pearl Diver at the forefront of its success.
