'Onwards and upwards' for CRM & data as Salesforce acquires Krux
Data management provider Krux is excited for future possibilities for the companies, customers and partners alike as the company announced today that it will be acquired by the CRM giant Salesforce.
Krux CEO and co-founder Tom Chavez posted a blog, in which he described how Salesforce's #1 CRM platform will match with Krux's data management platform, Intelligent Marketing Hub.
"As a part of the Salesforce ecosystem, we've had the opportunity to work closely with the Salesforce team to create integrations that make our customers even more successful," he states in the blog.
He believes that the companies have common core values, including innovation, trust, transparency and customer success, which will help them build what they are calling the industry's 'smartest Marketing Cloud'.
To do this, the companies will use data management to extend Salesforce Marketing Cloud's abilities to target and segment potential consumers. It will also power Salesforce Einstein with 'billions' of new datasets, building an ever-smarter picture of customers.
"We're trading gas for rocket fuel. Becoming part of Salesforce is great news for our current and future clients, our partner network and our employees," he says.
He says Krux will continue to provide relevant and valuable customer experience through data, reach and impact through the Salesforce platform.
Chavez also says that both companies will continue to support their partner ecosystems and integration with different platforms.
"Onward and upward! We want to thank all of our employees, investors, partners and clients for helping us get to this exciting juncture," he concludes.
