Orion Health & Streamliners partner to enhance patient care
Orion Health has announced a strategic partnership with Streamliners, creators of HealthPathways. Orion Health's Amadeus Digital Care Record (DCR) is currently used to manage over 150 million patient records globally across more than 70 health systems.
Streamliners' HealthPathways, an online manual to aid clinical assessments, is in use across 56 health systems, supporting 34.3 million individuals. The collaboration will initially target healthcare systems and hospitals in New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
The collaboration aims to integrate Orion Health's Amadeus DCR with Streamliners' HealthPathways. This unified solution is intended to improve care coordination, clinical decision-making, and population health management across various care settings. Brad Porter, CEO of Orion Health, commented on the significance of this partnership, stating, "Healthcare is evolving and integrating care with evidence-based practice is more important than ever."
"By partnering, Orion Health and Streamliners are setting out to transform the management and delivery of patient care through their shared vision."
The Amadeus DCR platform consolidates all patient information from multiple sources into a single comprehensive record. This facilitates improved care coordination and health management. HealthPathways, on the other hand, offers healthcare professionals immediate access to the most recent global evidence and best practice guidelines. It provides real-time recommendations for patient assessments, treatment options, and referral pathways, aiming to ensure patients receive optimal care.
"The integration of Amadeus DCR and HealthPathways will provide healthcare systems with a powerful tool to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care, ultimately improving patient outcomes and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare delivery," added Porter. Stella Ward, CEO of Streamliners, echoed these sentiments, "We believe that this collaboration represents a significant step forward in the evolution of integrated care solutions. By combining our expertise and technologies, we can offer healthcare providers a comprehensive, evidence-based solution that truly supports the delivery of high-quality care."
Both Orion Health and Streamliners are committed to expanding the adoption of their combined solutions within the target markets initially and potentially extending into other territories in the future.
The focus will be on key markets, including New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. This partnership underscores the ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery by leveraging digital health solutions.
