SonicWall names Christine Bartlett as Chief Marketing Officer to strengthen channel partnerships
SonicWall, a global leader in cybersecurity with a partner-first approach for over three decades, has announced the appointment of Christine Bartlett as its Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Bartlett brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing at Cisco Systems, where she specialised in Channel Marketing. She is also lauded for her strong communications background and her aptitude for building foundational bridges within organisations to deliver results.
Prior to her tenure at Cisco Systems, Bartlett worked as a consultant, executing marketing and communications campaigns for renowned firms like HP, Chevron, and PG and E. In her new capacity at SonicWall, she will helm the global marketing team and be charged with the pivotal tasks of building the global brand and driving partner marketing.
The appointment of Bartlett is the latest in a series of strategic leadership hires for SonicWall. The company has also welcomed Jason Carter as Chief Revenue Officer, Peter Burke as Chief Product Officer, Chandrodaya Prasad as Executive Vice President of Global Product Management, and Michelle Ragusa-McBain as Global Channel Chief. According to SonicWall, these appointments underscore the company's commitment to evolving its leadership team with a keen focus on its channel partners.
Bob VanKirk, CEO and President of SonicWall, states, "SonicWall is a channel first company, and the addition of Christine is another indication of how much we want to enable our partners around the globe. As we bring to market more innovative offerings and further strengthen our complete security portfolio, we have a tremendous opportunity to increase our global awareness and we're excited to have Christine as our marketing leader."
In her role as CMO, Bartlett will not only oversee global brand development, messaging, and corporate communications, but also focus on demand generation and field marketing strategies. Her responsibilities will extend to both SonicWall's customer and partner marketing teams. She is slated to play a critical role in SonicWall's 'outside-in' approach, reaffirming the company's commitment to its valued channel partners.
Christine Bartlett's appointment comes at a crucial time for SonicWall as it aims to expand its reach and solidify its position in the cybersecurity industry. With her at the helm of marketing, the company looks set to build on its already robust reputation, offering both customers and partners the best opportunities for success.
