UK and US-based warehouse technology innovator Synergy Logistics has formed a key partnership with Techdinamics, a connected fulfilment solutions specialist. This strategic alignment aims to offer customers integrated rate shopping and transportation management capabilities facilitated by Techdinamics' techSHIP solution. The techSHIP technology integrates smoothly with Synergy's advanced warehouse management system (WMS) SnapFulfil, creating a fully connected workflow to aid faster and more accurate order processing while simultaneously reducing labour and operating costs.
techSHIP is a cloud-based application which integrates easily with various small parcel, Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload Freight (FTL) carriers, generating shipping labels and custom documentation. The tool streamlines the process of selecting lower-cost or most appropriate services for customer product lines by taking into account factors such as selection, ship-to addresses and other preferences. Furthermore, the shipping labels and tracking information it generates are directly transferred into SnapFulfil, ensuring a smooth, end-to-end user experience.
This streamlined process of integration, known as the blackbox API, provides SnapFulfil operators access to in-depth shipping software without the need to navigate through multiple screens. The techSHIP solution, with connections to over 150+ carriers, enhances order accuracy, accelerates processing times, promotes punctual delivery, and offers competitive shipping rates.
According to Smitha Raphael, Chief Product and Delivery Officer for Synergy Logistics, this depth of integration is achieved at speed, with the techSHIP solution enabling users to "write your own, multiple management rules". Raphael stated, "It is a quick and agile system like ours, and customers can be configured and up-to-speed within 20-30 minutes for rapid efficiencies and return on investment."
The effectiveness of the partnership is demonstrated in the case of Utah-based online beauty retailer Younique. The integration with techSHIP allowed Younique to onboard carriers previously unavailable to them, such as Purolator, and more efficiently print labels for high-volume orders using SnapFulfil's batch functionality. This has resulted in decreased shipping costs for the company.
Reg Adams, President at Techdinamics, outlines that the partnership is a great match, as SnapFulfil easily integrates with techSHIP's API. This integration allows users to process orders and generate labels within the WMS, with automatic communication between the system and techSHIP enabling plugin order management rules and rate shopping features.
