FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwi firm MahiFX has launched a new online Currency Converter tool, providing "dynamic real-time and historical exchange rate data.

The Christchurch based online foreign exchange trading platform says the site features real time data ranging from a previous five minutes to six months timeline.

Through the newly developed proprietary tool, Forex traders, holiday makers and other consumers can access current foreign exchange rates along with insight into recent fluctuations and trends in specific major world currencies.

MahiFX CEO and founder David Cooney says the Currency Converter tool will enable users to quickly and easily find out the exchange rate for a particular currency pair.

“Currency exchange rates are of interest to a wide range of people, not just to Forex traders," he says.

"We are very pleased to be able to offer this newly developed tool to anyone keen to access live market data and to better understand and visualise historical trends in currency exchange rates – whether that’s for forex trading purposes, planning a holiday or investing overseas.”

Founded in 2011, MahiFX global operations are headquartered in Christchurch with offices in London housing development and support teams in both locations for 24 hour service.
