Social media management platform Hootsuite has announced that the company was recognised as a leader in a Forrester report.
The “Forrester Wave: Social Media Management Solutions, Q2 2017” report analysed and evaluated the top providers supporting enterprise social marketing; Hootsuite was one of only four companies who was evaluated as a leader.
The three other solutions providers were Sprinklr, Lithium Technologies, and Spredfast.
“This recognition from Forrester is a validation for us of our commitment to helping organisations drive business results via social,” Hootsuite CMO Penny Wilson says.
“Our continued focus on developing innovative technology, building industry expertise, and our extensive partner ecosystem empowers enterprises to scale beyond marketing to the entire organisation.
Forrester Wave produces analyst reports to help enterprise organisations make informed technology purchases.
It conducted a 32-criteria evaluation of technologies that help enterprise marketers publish to social networks, as well as monitor and respond to customers.
The report also offers a look at where industry trends — such as social advertising, measurement, and integration — are headed.
Hootsuite received the highest possible scores in the measurement and data functionality, planned enhancements, and pricing transparency criteria.
In the report, Forrester states that Hootsuite cements its "enterprise status.
“Hootsuite maintains valued partner status with customers due to its liberal integration philosophy and client responsiveness,” says Forrester.
“It has enhanced its offering with progressive measurement and advertising capabilities previously unavailable.
Forrester also noted that Hootsuite can help organisations expand social media management capabilities to the entire organisation.
“Hootsuite Enterprise's collaboration, compliance, archiving, and integration capabilities make it an appropriate product for brands expanding their use of social beyond marketing teams.
It notes Hootsuite's open ecosystem which enables customers to integrate with their existing business-critical applications.
