FYI, this story is more than a year old

With the changes to GST only weeks away, MYOB has created an online portal of resources to help small businesses understand what's happening and get through it all unscathed.

A microsite has been launched that features videos, podcasts, checklists and even a GST pricing calculator.

Four videos are available that offer an overview of what’s happening and how MYOB can help. And there’s also a 10 step checklist and podcast on the 10 things businesses need to understand.

The GST pricing calculator lets businesses play around with their end price points and work out the best pricing option. It lets you know what you’re making, paying to the IRD and passing on to the end client.

Take a look at the MYOB website here.

Elsewhere on the Start-Up website, Xero has also introduced a number of changes to its online accounting software ahead of the government’s changes.

James Page, Microsoft Dynamics AX Service Line Lead for Intergen, has also given advice on GST and answers the most common questions.
