Infor expands AWS partnership with Velocity Suite launch in EU
Infor has expanded its collaboration with Amazon Web Services by launching the Infor Velocity Suite in the AWS Marketplace and confirming its role as a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. The company is making its cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, alongside AI-driven tools, available to businesses aiming to modernise operations and address regulatory demands in Europe.
Cloud deployment
The Velocity Suite, designed to speed up digital transformation and automate key business processes in the cloud, can now be accessed through AWS Marketplace. The package includes ready-to-integrate AI agent tools that provide real-time inventory optimisation, demand forecasting, and predictive maintenance. These solutions are aimed at companies that require advanced analytics and improved workflow automation while ensuring data privacy and compliance standards are met.
Infor's suite uses services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Q Developer to embed AI into its CloudSuite solutions. This integration is intended to deliver tailored insights and process automation specific to various industries, especially manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors.
European cloud compliance
Infor will deploy its LN ERP solution on the upcoming AWS European Sovereign Cloud. This independent cloud environment is intended to help businesses comply with the European Union's operational autonomy and data residency regulations. The launch of this cloud is anticipated by the end of 2025 and is seen as a move to address growing data sovereignty requirements within the EU.
Organisations using Infor's solutions will be able to plan and transition their infrastructure and processes to this region-specific cloud while aligning with local compliance needs.
Migration support
To support companies moving legacy operations to the cloud, Infor has introduced a programme it describes as a cost-effective migration offer. The aim is to help businesses transition ERP workloads to AWS with predictable timelines and fixed-fee pricing, targeting common challenges such as implementation delays and budget uncertainties.
Security measures
The collaboration with AWS also aims to enhance security and incident response. Infor's use of AWS security measures, including encryption and data privacy solutions, enables it to deliver scalable offerings that meet strict regulatory requirements, particularly those relevant to European customers.
