Linnworks partners with Loop to improve post-purchase service

Linnworks has announced a new integration with Loop, aiming to enhance the post-purchase experience for retailers using its platform.

This integration is designed to improve the efficiency of returns management processes for e-commerce businesses, enhance customer satisfaction, and reduce manual intervention. Linnworks provides inventory, order, and warehouse management solutions, while Loop specialises in optimising post-purchase activities such as returns, exchanges, and reverse logistics.

Loop is a well-known post-purchase platform that currently serves over 4,000 Shopify brands. It offers features like Workflows, Instant Exchanges, Shop Now, Bonus Credit, and Offset, which help reduce costs, increase customer lifetime value, and retain more revenue for global brands.

The partnership between Linnworks and Loop introduces several features designed to streamline the returns and exchange process. Automated order status updates are implemented so that when a customer submits a return via Loop, warehouse operators can scan the item, update the status in Linnworks, and relay this information back to Loop. This reduces the chances of manual errors.

Warehouse operators using Linnworks will be able to add notes when manual review of exchanges is necessary, pausing the process until details are confirmed. Loop also notifies Shopify to issue refunds or create new exchange orders according to customer preferences, simplifying the process for merchants and customers alike.
