Polycom launches new phones aimed at SMBs
Polycom has announced the release of two new entry-level desktop phones as part of its voice solutions portfolio.
"Communication between colleagues, suppliers and vendors is the cornerstone of any business, and being able to focus on the message instead of the technology is paramount to productive conversations," the company says in a statement.
The new Polycom VVX 101 and Polycom VVX 201 phones work with a variety of unified communications platforms and are designed for organisations of all sizes and budgets.
The new Polycom VVX 101 business media phone is a low cost solution for small and home offices, lobby areas and shared workspaces.
The Polycom VVX 201 business media phone is designed for organisations looking for a cost effective telephony solution and features two-line support and a wide-range of enterprise telephony features.
Both offer life-like conversations with Polycom's HD voice, Polycom Acoustic Clarity and Polycom Acoustic Fence technology.
"Polycom remains committed to continuing to provide the industry's best voice quality for clear communication and comprehension at every price point," says Ashan Willy, senior vice president worldwide product management and systems engineers at Polycom.
"The Polycom VVX 101 and Polycom VVX 201 expand Polycom's business media phone portfolio and serve as a direct reflection of that commitment and our vision to unleash the power of human collaboration with standards-based solutions that are open and interoperable.
"With the right combination of technology, people, and processes, organisations can improve productivity, boost innovation and hone their competitive edge," Willy says.
The Polycom VVX 101 and Polycom VVX 201 business media phones are certified to interoperate with a broad array of SIP call control platforms and integrate with third-party Web-based UC and productivity applications.
