Seismic, Salesforce expand AI tools to boost B2B sales success
Seismic has announced new AI product capabilities as part of its collaboration with Salesforce aimed at supporting B2B sales teams in increasing productivity and improving client engagement.
The integration sees Seismic's Aura AI incorporated into Salesforce's Agentforce, providing sales representatives and customer-facing staff with real-time content recommendations, adaptive selling playbooks, and embedded enablement functions - all within the Salesforce platform. This collaboration intends to reduce the need for switching between tools and to surface the next-best actions for teams during live conversations with customers.
Sales cycle trends
Recent analysis from Rocket4Sales has shown that B2B sales cycles have become more protracted, lengthening by 25% in 2023 and adding an average of 27 days to closing deals within the SaaS sector. The increasing complexity of these sales cycles places additional strain on businesses striving for efficiency and growth. New data indicates that teams utilising AI are 83% more likely to report revenue growth, compared to 66% for those not using AI, highlighting the potential benefits for companies adopting such technologies.
Seismic's partnership with Salesforce follows these trends, seeking to provide actionable tools that help teams navigate complex sales environments. Aura AI, now available through Salesforce's AgentExchange marketplace, is positioned to support revenue operations by delivering the right content and insights at each stage of the sales process.
Product capabilities
The Aura AI integration delivers several key features for sales professionals. Besides real-time recommendations tailored to customer profiles and the particular stage of a sales opportunity, the system also offers guided selling playbooks that adapt to each interaction. Embedded enablement capabilities within Salesforce mean teams can access resources without leaving their workflow, an approach intended to remove inefficiencies from the sales process.
"Go-to-market teams don't just need automation - they need AI that drives action and results. That's what our expanded work with Salesforce delivers. With Aura AI embedded in Agentforce, revenue teams can access the intelligence and content they need to win right in their flow of work. We're proud of the momentum we've built with Salesforce and look forward to delivering even more value to our joint customers in the months ahead," said Hayden Stafford, Chief Revenue Officer and President, Seismic.
Seismic's most recent platform release placed Aura AI at the centre of its enablement approach. The company reports that Aura AI not only streamlines access to content and recommendations within Agentforce, but also provides playbooks that can adapt in real time, helping sellers remain responsive to evolving conversations and client needs.
Customer adoption
Seismic and Salesforce's joint customers span eCommerce, business services, and enterprise software sectors. According to both companies, use of the integrated solution has led to measurable improvements including increased sales productivity, faster deal closure, and more robust engagement with buyers.
"Seismic was one of the first partners to move quickly to deliver innovative, enterprise-ready Agentforce solutions to enable agentic AI in the enterprise. Their continued investment in our ecosystem is a powerful example of how trusted partners like Seismic are helping global organisations unlock the full potential of Salesforce," said Brian Landsman, CEO of AppExchange and Global Partnerships at Salesforce.
Revenue and go-to-market leaders who adopt solutions such as Aura AI have seen higher quota attainment, accelerated onboarding for new sellers, and enhancements in overall buyer experience, according to statements from Seismic. The partnership seeks to enable a seamless workflow that bridges the gap between customer data, sales strategies, and real-time execution.
Future plans
Looking ahead, both companies state that they will continue collaborating on developments in agentic AI, aiming to enhance interoperability among AI agents, platforms, and enterprise workflows that align with ongoing Agentforce improvements. Seismic is also preparing to launch a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server on AgentExchange, intended to enable scalable digital labour for revenue teams.
Further information about Seismic's developments and integrations with Salesforce is expected to be detailed at the company's upcoming event, where future enablement advancements will be demonstrated.
