Machine learning (ML) stories - Page 141

A subset of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning describes the process by which a computer is ‘trained’ to recognise and react to inputs or situations without being explicitly told what those reactions should be. Applied ML in business is referred to as ‘predictive analytics’ because the analytics software is trained to respond to incoming data and provide adaptive insights. ML is among the techniques being used in pursuit of AI mimicking the human brain.
