Altimetrik has been recognised in three categories in the ISG Provider Lens 2026 Life Sciences Digital Services Global Report, receiving Product Challenger designations in two and a Contender designation in one.

The assessments covered Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Commercial Operations: Digital Evolution, and Clinical Development. ISG's report reviews service providers and contract research organisations in the global life sciences digital services market.

In Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Altimetrik was named a Product Challenger. ISG cited its work in AI-led digital engineering and its alignment with operational processes, including control tower systems for end-to-end visibility, predictive supply chain models based on real-time data, platform modernisation, and AI tools embedded in workflows.

Altimetrik also received a Product Challenger designation in Commercial Operations: Digital Evolution. ISG cited its integration of AI into commercial systems through unified data across sales, marketing, and engagement platforms, along with targeting, personalisation, and decision intelligence within existing workflows.

Sector shift

In Clinical Development, Altimetrik was listed as a Contender. ISG highlighted its focus on workflow-based approaches in regulated settings, including links between clinical and enterprise data systems, AI-enabled workflows, and platforms designed to support clinical operations across the lifecycle.

The recognition adds to Altimetrik's efforts to expand its position in life sciences, where technology suppliers are under pressure to show that artificial intelligence can move beyond isolated projects and into day-to-day operating models. ISG said AI-native and platform-led approaches are reshaping the sector as organisations shift from fragmented digital programmes to more integrated models.

Ramji Vasudevan, Head of Life Sciences, Altimetrik, said the rankings reflected the company's approach to applying AI in operational settings rather than treating it as a separate layer.

"This recognition from ISG validates Altimetrik's approach to embedding AI into enterprise workflows rather than treating it as a standalone capability," said Ramji Vasudevan, Head of Life Sciences, Altimetrik. "By combining product engineering with strong data and platform foundations and applying a practitioner-led, bite-sized approach focused on business outcomes, we help life sciences organisations move from fragmented initiatives to scalable transformation. This enables measurable impact across manufacturing, commercial, and clinical functions while maintaining the rigour required in regulated environments."

Workflow focus

Life sciences companies have been increasing spending on digital systems across research, supply chains, and commercial operations while facing pressure to show returns on those investments. Analysts have increasingly focused on whether service providers can connect AI use cases to specific business processes in regulated industries, where data quality, auditability, and operational consistency are central concerns.

ISG positioned Altimetrik's strengths around workflow-led digital engineering, with particular emphasis on manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations. The firm also pointed to a broader digital base following the company's acquisition of SLK.

Lead analyst Rohan Sinha made that assessment in the report.

"Altimetrik is building a more credible life sciences position around workflow-led digital engineering, with particular strength in manufacturing, supply chain and commercial operations," said Rohan Sinha. "What stands out is its effort to move beyond isolated AI pilots toward a more structured model that links use cases to business outcomes, supported by reusable platforms, agent-based orchestration and a stronger digital core following the SLK acquisition."

Industry pressure

Altimetrik describes itself as an AI engineering company with more than 10,000 practitioners worldwide. Its work spans sectors including financial services, manufacturing, retail, automotive, health care, and life sciences.

The latest recognition places the company among suppliers seeking a larger role in digital services for drugmakers and medical product companies, especially where manufacturers and clinical teams are trying to integrate data systems and automate routine decisions without weakening regulatory controls.

ISG's findings underscored that shift by highlighting workflow integration, reusable platforms, and closer links between data, operations, and execution.
