AnywhereNow has partnered with Meridian IT on customer engagement tools for Microsoft Teams.

The deal combines AnywhereNow's Dialogueue Cloud Neo platform with Meridian's capabilities in unified communications, contact centre design, implementation and managed services. It is aimed at organisations that want to manage customer interactions, workflow automation and artificial intelligence functions within a single Microsoft environment.

Both companies are targeting businesses that already use Microsoft products and want to extend those systems rather than replace them. Meridian, a managed services and technology provider, helps organisations build customer engagement and AI-based experiences inside Microsoft Teams.

AnywhereNow describes Dialogueue Cloud Neo as a Microsoft Teams-native customer experience platform. Under the partnership, Meridian will support customers with architecture decisions, deployment and ongoing operational support as contact centre systems evolve.

The companies have already worked together on customer engagement projects in Microsoft Teams, including solution design, deployment planning and managed service offerings to support ongoing optimisation.

Microsoft focus

The partnership reflects continued demand from businesses looking to make broader use of existing software investments, particularly workplace collaboration platforms already deployed across their organisations. By building customer service functions inside Microsoft Teams, suppliers are trying to reduce the need for employees to switch between separate communications and service applications.

This approach has become more common as contact centre providers, managed service companies and software vendors work to align customer support workflows more closely with collaboration tools. For businesses, the appeal often lies in using software licences and systems already in place while adding automation and AI tools to service operations.

Meridian's role is likely to matter most for customers that need external support to redesign or manage contact centre estates. It will help clients translate business objectives into technical architecture, while also handling deployment and long-term service management.

AnywhereNow, meanwhile, is seeking wider adoption of Dialogueue Cloud Neo within the Microsoft ecosystem. According to the companies, the partnership is also intended to support the development of service offerings linked to broader corporate AI projects.

Kristy Sholett, Vice President of the Collaboration Centre of Excellence at Meridian IT, said the company also plans to deploy the software internally.

"Dialogueue Cloud Neo, combined with our managed services expertise, helps organisations simplify complex technology environments and put AI to work faster," said Kristy Sholett, Vice President of the Collaboration Centre of Excellence at Meridian IT. "We're also deploying the platform within our own service desk, giving us firsthand experience that benefits our customers. Together with AnywhereNow, we're helping organisations modernise customer engagement without disrupting the way they work."

Service model

The tie-up also highlights the growing role of service providers in shaping how companies adopt AI in customer-facing operations. Rather than buying a stand-alone software product, many organisations now rely on partners to integrate communications systems, automation tools and support processes around existing platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

AnywhereNow's wider product set includes customer interaction tools, enterprise dialogue management and virtual agents designed to operate within the Teams environment. It also offers products including Tendfor and Deepdesk as part of its broader suite for contact centre, reception and AI-led interaction analysis.

For Meridian, the partnership adds another layer to its collaboration and managed services portfolio. As part of Meridian Group International, it works across cloud, infrastructure and IT services, and the agreement with AnywhereNow gives it another route into customer engagement and contact centre transformation projects.

Luke Orlandini, Head of Partnerships at AnywhereNow, said, "Organisations are looking for ways to build richer customer engagement experiences while maximising the value of the technology investments already in place. Our partnership with Meridian IT combines Dialogueue Cloud Neo's intelligent automation with the expertise and support required to accelerate transformation and bring the customer journey into the centre of the business."
