Pigment , Google Cloud partner to boost AI business planning

Wed, 28th May 2025

Pigment has entered into a partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of AI-led business planning among global enterprises.

As part of the partnership, Pigment intends to use Google Cloud's secure, scalable, and AI-optimised infrastructure, as well as its advanced storage and analytics technology, to help customers extract greater value from their data. This approach aims to reduce technical debt within organisations, bridge gaps between business and IT, and support improved alignment across entire enterprises.

Pigment's platform enables business teams, including those at customers such as Unilever, Snowflake, and DPD, to build and adapt strategic plans. By integrating Google Cloud AI directly into its platform, Pigment is developing a range of specialised business planning agents—termed the Analyst, the Planner, and the Modeler—that are intended to augment employee workflows as a digital workforce. These agents are designed to help business teams react with greater speed, make more informed decisions, and identify both risks and opportunities at an earlier stage.

The collaboration will provide Pigment's platform with access to the entirety of Google Cloud's AI suite. This includes Gemini, over 200 models in Vertex AI's Model Garden, and advanced agent AI solutions such as Agentspace, the Agent Development toolkit, Vertex AI's Agent Garden, and the new Agent2Agent protocol. The intent is to accelerate Pigment's roadmap in agentic AI, a concept that focuses on enabling AI agents to proactively model scenarios, surface opportunities, and guide strategic decision-making.

Pigment is now available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, which allows enterprises already operating on Google Cloud to more easily access and deploy Pigment's platform. At present, deployment via the Google Cloud Marketplace is available to customers in the United States, with expansion to further global markets planned for the future.

"At Pigment, we're pioneering the use of Agentic AI in business planning, empowering AI agents to proactively model scenarios, uncover opportunities, and guide strategic decisions. Our partnership with Google Cloud accelerates this vision, enabling companies to adapt faster and plan with greater clarity and confidence in an increasingly dynamic world," Éléonore Crespo, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Pigment, commented on the partnership.

"We are leading the charge in applying Agentic AI to business planning, enabling AI agents to proactively model scenarios, surface opportunities, and recommend the best path forward. Partnering with Google Cloud allows us to take that vision even further, helping companies adapt quickly and plan with clarity," Crespo added.

"Google Cloud's approach to AI is a holistic and open one. From our infrastructure to our latest agent solutions, we are creating an innovative and fast-evolving ecosystem that benefits from and fosters state-of-the art AI technologies. Pigment's ambition to be at the forefront of AI innovation and to scale rapidly aligns closely with our own approach, and we're delighted to be supporting the company as it expands and advances its value proposition within core markets," Isabelle Fraine, Managing Director at Google Cloud in France, commented on the collaboration.

Pigment's platform is currently in use by several industry-recognised companies, including Coca-Cola, Unilever, Aston Martin and Deliver, as well as others mentioned by the company. The ongoing integration of Google Cloud's AI infrastructure is expected to support Pigment in expanding its digital workforce capabilities and providing agile business planning solutions for customers across a range of sectors.
